"DOLINUSHKA" is an alive water of our rivers and lakes, our boundless fields like flood and bird's twitter. And it is melodious speech of folk holidays and village people's gatherings in winter evenings. The word "dolinushka" is in Russian term of endearment of the word "valley". The concerts of ensemble aren't even folklore performances, but they are fragments of centuries-old life of Russian people.
The creative work of "DOLINUSHKA" is genuine and authentic folk art. Group's members carried on scientific expeditions through the Kostroma region for collecting and study of Russian folklore stuff. Thus, the songs of ensemble, its dances, musical instruments and costumes are not any stilisation of national art, but they are an inseparable part of original culture of Russian people! The repertoir of ensemble includes even songs from the 18-th century! As more as well evrything is interpreted at a high art level.
