Chapter 2: The Girl
The next day Taylor awoke to Zac shaking him. "Come
on, get up, Tay," Zac said. "Mom wants us downstairs
for breakfest in 5 minutes."
"Ugh, I'm awake, I'm awake," Taylor's sleepy eyes
peeked open just wide enough for him to give Zac a look
as if to say 'I'm really tired, leave me alone!'
Isaac was already downstairs, playing with Avie and
Jessica. "How come Tay isn't down yet?" his mom asked
Isaac. She stood with both hands on her hips and a
questionly look upon her pale face.
"I don't know. He fell asleep before I did," Isaac
replied.
Just then Zac came bouncing down the stairs. "Tays
coming," he said and then sat down at the neatly set
table.

Later that day, Isaac, Tay, and Zac were getting ready
to go rollerblading.
"So, Tay, how come your so tired this morning?" Isaac
said while he laced up his blades.
"Umm.. Well, last night I woke up, I thought I heard
someone outside the window, but when I looked," he
paused, "there was no one there. I was going to go
downstairs to get something to drink, and I heard someone
voice, when I looked again, I could have sworn I saw a
girl standing below the window looking up at me."
Both Isaac and Zac gave him funny looks. "You saw some
girl outside the window?" Zac asked.
"Yeah, but it was like she was there for like a second,
then she was gone." Taylor's voice sounding a little
annoyied that his brothers didn't believe him.
"Tay, you saw a girl for like a second, then she was
gone?" Isaac said and shook his head. Whatever, he
thought.
"It took me a while to get back-" he was cut off by a
yawn. "I couldn't get back to sleep."
"Whatever, you guys ready?" Zac answered this time.
"Yeah, lets go!" Isaac stood up.

Taylor was coming around a corner, he turned around
and began skating backwards. He was about to turn around
again when he ran into someone.
They both hit the pavement. "Oh, I'm sorry-" the girl
began, and at just about the same time, Taylor said, "I'm
sorry!"
He stood up and offered her his hand to help her up.
She took it and stood up, saying, "Sorry, I wasn't
looking."
"No, no, I wasn't- nevermind. I'm sorry." He relized
he was still holding her hand so he let go and then
blushed.
She is really pretty.. long dark brownish-red,
curly hair, thin, and gorgeous dark hazel-green eyes, he
thought.
"Oh, Umm, I'm Veronica," she paused for a moment, "Veronica
Rodgers. And you are?"
"Hi, I'm Taylor Hanson," he smiled. I wonder why shes
never heard of us?
Just then Zac came whirling around the corner and almost
ran into Taylor. "Whoa. Hi'ya Tay!" Zac looked at
Veronica.
Taylor noticed Zac looking at her and so he said,"Oh,
Zac, this is Veronica Rodgers, Veronica, this is my brother
Zachary."
"Zac, for short. How are ya?" he spoke in a silly voice
which made them all laugh.
