Sylkwyng

Like a shooting star 
moving across the night sky,
traveling rapidly and leaving behind
millions of sparks of light in his wake,
this gentle soul touches those that look
with awe at his love-based existence.

Without effort, he metamorphoses into 
the gentlest of butterflies,
spreading his gossamer wings to envelope
those in need and sharing his peace
and security with those in pain.

Each time we meet,
I am filled with the joy
of knowing such a soul 
subsists on this planet.

I am inspired....
by his talent 
by his tender heart,
and I find new resolve to follow his example
of spreading love and acceptance 
to all in my path.
