Educators' Resource Hall of Fame

This year has been one of great gains in my classroom. I made it my personal goal to add 4 computers to my class, bringing the total to 8.  As of now, I have 13.  Twelve of these are networked.  All but one were donated.  I traded for one, and bought 3-Com combo cards, cabling, 2 hard drives, two mini-hubs, and a lot of RAM using personal funds.

The following donors deserve a word of thanks:

The Computer Tutor hasn't met an Educator yet who didn't appreciate some free materials now and then. So many of us have to spend our hard-earned money on our own supplies. To that extent, this page is dedicated to those sites that deserve a page in their honor for the free/inexpensive sources of software they offer. It is felt that if one looks diligently enough, the purchase of software at full price is not all that necessary (excellent news for Teachers !!!).  Teachers need to buy groceries now and then :-)   That said, here are some money-saving resources to visit:

Freeware32.com

Nonags

Good 'Ol Boy Jim Knopf

And a real special "Thank-you" to Kate and Mercedes from
