Friday, June 11

Friday was a long and tiring day of sightseeing...
Oh, but what an incredible day!

Four different groups wandered New York.
The Empire State Building,
Statue of Liberty,
Chinatown,
Times Square.
What a city with incredible extremes.
One minute we were standing in the     glitter of     Times Square...
and the next were watching a homeless man sleep on the Subway.

We watched the beauty of the sunset
from the Empire State Building...
after we had threaded our way through the streets of Chinatown
looking at the stores with fresh fish on ice.
How can one describe New York City but large.
It overwhelms you,   it exhausts you, it energizes you.
Even after we returned we were led into singing   and fellowship together at our evening Coffee House.

Saturday is our last full day.
A closing workshop session to try to put it all together-
a concert in the evening-
a remarkable worship service-
spending our last day together.

More will be coming to this web-site.  Keep Watching!
