French Side Dishes
Des Oefs, Bon Femme4 eggs
1 tablespoon butter, divided
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves strong garlic or 8 to 10 of the California ones, sliced or minced
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegarFry the eggs, as you like them in about 2 teaspoons butter. Remove to warm plates. Into the frying pan, put the remaining butter and the olive oil. Add the garlic, over low heat and simmer briefly. Increase the heat and add the vinegar. When it boils up, the sauce is done. Pour the sauce over the eggs on each plate and serve.
