Montgomery,ALA. March 6th 1974. Before his performance at the Garret Coliseum Elvis met Governor George Wallace and his wife.
Elvis was wearing the famed " Aloha Eagle jumpsuit " for the first time of this tour, it was hardly used after this concert and only the belt was used in June 1974 with the "American Eagle suit" aka embroided eagle suit in Baton Rouge,LA. (reference: front cover of the LP "Having Fun With Elvis ").
The show performed that night was similar to most March 1974 concerts, yet that specific one was shorter when compared to many others. "Steamroller Blues" wasn't part of the program that night as well as "Help Me"and "How Great Thou Art",however "Johnny B. Goode " and "Release Me" were sung.
