What is Cool?
(Geez that sounded like a Dr Y IB essay I would
have had fun with...)
Notice: The following is my personal opinion as
to what are the cooler aspects of life. Chances
are few people would agree with me, but you
wouldn't be looking here if you didn't know me to
some degree already, would ya?
See how you measure up to Cristine. See if you
are one with Cristine's frame of mind, turely
meant to be friends with her or at least
partially able to understand her.
See if you need professional help just as much as she does!!
Things in Life that I have found to be
interesting, fascinating, fun
or at least thought provoking.
Chocolate -
mmmmmm..... enough said.
Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream -
mmmmmmmmm..... even better...oohhh...
Publix Brand Mint Chocolate Chip -
mmmmmm...aaaaaahhhhh..... approaching orgasm!
For something even better than that ... ;)
My Friends -
All of them. They are great, wonderful people. I
would be lost without them. Or die of food poisioning
and starve, especially concerning my roommates. They
keep me alive. See these strange and amazing people!
My Cats -
Duncan, Conner Sheridan, Marcus, and Delenn MacLeod.
And Honey, my mom's cat. They are my babies, and
are unfortunately in Tampa with my parents. I don't
think my parents trust me to take care of them by
myself. but I love them dearly and will proabably
have an entire web site to them eventually. They are
my squishy baby kitties! And a very good reason to
spend 4 hours driving home and back!
FireFlies -
How can one not like any little bug that blinks? Or
entire populations of them? These are amazing litle
critters. I had never seen one until I came ot UF-
and that was only because I took Doc Lloyd's class
on them! (Intro Biology of Fireflies- I swear to
you it really is an honors class at the Univ of
Florida.) Next on the adgenda- taking Advanced
Fireflies when they have enough students to offer
the class agian!
Fire -
I DID NOT SET THE FIRES IN NORTHERN FLORIDA!!!
(People seem to ask me this)
I love the beauty of the flame, wild, untamed, orange
and warm. So many beautiful colors. Perfect for
romantic evenings, or when there is no one to have
such a romantic evening, there is always smores..
and chocolate. Fire is to be respected, appreciated,
and loved. Do you not find yourself staring into
the flame of a lone candle, lost in thought? (and
sometimes thinking "I am grey.." ok, so that's just me)
Ice Hockey -
I play Ice Hockey at UF. I love the sport. I wish we
were allowed to check in Women's Hockey. Now that
would be fun. I just don't bother to pay attemtion
to professional hockey- Nothing is more boring than
watching people play a game that you can't join in on.
(We are looking for recruits. Email me for more info!!
Medieval Faires -
It's a HUGE part of my life since coming to the sucky
towne of Gainesville.
Hoggetowne Medieval Faire - Yeah, I never shut up
about it, but its really cool! It is, IMHO, the
ONLY one to go to! (hhmm.. must have soemthing
to do with the fact that we do the Human Chessboard)
Its GOOD to be a Wench!
The Thieves Guilde -
The actign troupe base out of the Gainesville
Community Playhouse, the local communtiy theater.
This is the buch responsible for the afore
mentioned Chessboard performance at various
Medieval and Rennaisance Faires. It is also
my Gainesville family, first and foremost.
They are why I didn't leave UF after a pretty
miserable few first weeks here. I love you all!
Alpha Phi Omega -
No, I haven't gone and joined a sorority!
A Phi O is a national service faternity based
on the princilpes of Boy Scouts. (Which is pretty
cool becuase Girls Scouts is pretty sissily
cheesey). A co-ed organization dedicated to the
principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service,
I am very proud to be a brother and serve my
communtiy, nation, and campus. Look for us on the
UF campus at the information booth on Stadiun Rd,
between Turlington and the HUB.
Babylon 5, X Files and Highlander -
But since are already a zillion sites for them,
I'll not be another. I just really, really like
them though. Too bad I never watch TV now....
