Hi, I'm researching my great grandparents, John (Johannes) & Lavinia Baker, who lived in Worthing, SSX, England from approx. 1871 to 1930. They raised at least twelve children and there must be many descendents living in the southern part of England today, especially in the Sussex area. I have contact with many of the Baker descendants in North America. My mother's maiden name was Baker and she was the oldest of nine children. My focus in researching is now back in Sussex to find contacts of her relatives living in southern England. John Baker also had two brothers, Phillipp and George Baker who raised their families in Worthing during the same period mentioned above. The three Baker brothers were all professional musicians and were listed as being born in Nassau, Germany in the mid-1800's, 1850. George is listed as being a British Subject. Their father's name was Joseph Baker, a builder. Any info. on this family would be greatfully appreciated. We are in the process of publishing a Baker Family History book of our family.Bill Peckham

I am looking for a Solomon Baker(1) who is said to have served in the Revolution and who was in PA in February 1790 for the birth of his son Solomon Baker(2).
