Mollie's due date was March 8, 1999 but she had no intention of making her grand entrance on that day!
Finally, contractions started on Sunday, March 14 and progressed steadily throughout the night and the next morning. By approximately 2:30pm on Monday, March 15 Lee and I headed to the hospital. After having my contractions monitored for about an hour (and me wailing from the pain), I was given an epidural which immediately made me feel more comfortable.
About an hour or so later, the Labor Nurse came rushing into my room - the fetal heart rate had dropped significantly. My doctor was called immediately and I was prepped for an emergency c-section. A few minutes later, Mollie Florence Grubman was born. She was strong, healthy and so beautiful!
