OBIT: [received from Jennie Pringle Sep 1986] CHISHOLM. Mrs James H Brown, who died on Mar 11th 1897, was the only daughter of Joseph and Mary Hicks, who came to this country and settled down when it was a wilderness. Mrs Brown leaves a family of 10 children, 7 boys and 3 girls and she lived to be the grandmother of 39 grandchildren. She was married to James H Brown on the 5th of March 1848, being married 49 years.
