  • New US research shows vegetarians live an average ten years longer than non vegetarians, that's according to my wife over a vegetarian lunch today.

  • The German Government paid 200 Billion DMs to the former GDR in the form of subsidies last year.

  • US debt burden reaches infinity . . . well no not literally, but it's getting mighty surreal. Don't forget once you arrive to hit reload and watch another few hundred thousand dollars added to the bill. Selling coconuts all day at the roadside at 6 rupees a pop in Sri Lanka seems pretty honorable by comparison. The National Debt clock

  • What is Netizen Soup? We may soon find out as the Internet is growing at 1000% per annum: At a conservative estimate more than 50,000 new websites allegedly coming on-line every month. OR if you like this one, 17,000 new domains being registered daily. Now how can all these facts be true simultaneously? Would a mathematician out there please create a "facts bend" theory and submit it.

    Silly Facts

  • If Bill Gates laid his personal wealth end to end in dollar bills it would stretch 170,454 miles, but why would he want to do that when he could lay it end to end in hundred dollar bills and only have to travel three times across America to achieve the same result?

  • "#baarf" will produce puke yellow, as will "#aaargh", whereas "#xfiles" as a background color will neutralise all your links because it's a dazzling blue. Here's one for the scatological : Try BODY BGCOLOR = "#6BUMS" and watch your web page go brown.

    Legal facts

  • If you want to know where the internet is heading in terms of copyright- don't ask me. I just copied this picture from an advert for a golf shop (?) and changed it to a defamatory advert for my favourite lawyer Mark Stephens of Stephens Innocent. It took three minutes not three months - so why are web designers charging like rhino's, (or lawyers for that matter)? I guess now I just wait and see who sues first.

I need improbable but accurate facts, like the fact that Compuserve has 500,000 mac members but manages to offer support as though it had none, which is fairly staggering. Please Email any you have to hand
