(Partially enclosed) NY State thruway I87 north to exit 23 Rte 787 north. Take I787 north to 7 east Troy exit (a.k.a. Hoosick Street). Follow exit over the Hudson River to Hoosick. Follow Hoosick St. there is a Friendly's Restaurant on the right as you go up the hill. The first left past Friendly's is a traffic light. Take the second left AFTER Friendly's (no traffic light), which leads to Freer Park at the end. (posted 2/15/99)
