From The Start

Looking deep into your azure orbs,
I am reminded of the days of pain,
I am reminded of the love we share,
When I look upon your shining face.

In the reflection of your eyes I see
Trials and troubled moments
Rocks me to my very core
Reminds me what I'm living for

Through the stormy skies and barren waste,
we delve deep within the thick crust of normality,
we stagger upon the line of insanity,
as we struggle to hold onto our only possession...

Ourselves,
Our dignity,
Our fears of who we are,
Of who we will become

And most importantly we withold our grip,
on our fleeting pride and faith,
still standing after years of battering,
but we shall never let it crumble never...

Through the fire we have walked
Come out the other side
Stronger, wiser and enured
For what we have endured

Fate has clubbed us to our knees,
begging at his merciless feet we cry tears of blood,
the crimson droplets stain the ground,
but he can never take our souls.. Our spirit..

They are ours to keep!!
For as we get back to our feet
The benefits we reap
Of struggling on, not giving up

Now I am standing beside you,
Still with the weight of the world on my shoulders,
for I shall never let it fall if I do I fear I will die,
but for now my wounds are healing alongside you...

Together we can see this through
Our bruises will fade and grow dim
For your honour, unconditional love I give you
With shared weight we'll again begin.
