the heart in order to start it again once it has stopped. The defibrillator
consumes 1 charge per use. The patients chest must be exposed in order
to use this device. Upon applying the charge, the doctor must make an advanced
medical check. If it is made, the patient may make a health C.S.T. It can
be used over and over again until one of the following conditions are met:
- The doctor makes a critical miss.
- The patient critically misses a Health C.S.T.
- Brain Death ensues (After 3 minutes).
- No power is available.
- Electric Cautery Knife

Battery Required: E-10
Effects: This device uses an electrical current to cut and/or cauterize
tissue. In surgical applications it gives a +2 bonus to the users Advanced
medical B.C.S. and to the patients save if any are required. If used to
cauterize severed limbs in order to prevent bleeding, the patient need
not roll the Health A.S.T. to survive, but a health C.S.T. is required

damage is more controlled, and unlikely to kill the victim. It uses .05
charges per location cauterized.
