Dakkota is an Elon College, North Carolina based band. Dakkota consists of lead singer, Joe Beckham ; lead guitarist (and my favorite), Andrew Timmons ; rhythm guitarist, Patrick Riddick ; bassist, Stan Powell ; and drummer, Brian Spangler .

Dakkota combines country music, new and old, with southern and classic rock. They sing many
top 10 country songs as well as a growing number of original songs. Right now they are playing sold out shows at college campuses, event centers, and local bars as well as local festivals!

Dakkota has opened for such country greats as George Jones, Bryan White, Travis Tritt, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tracy Byrd, Kenny Chesney, Little Texas , David Allen Coe, Tracy Lawrence, Thrasher Shiver, Lee Roy Parnell, David Lee Murphy, Shenandoah, Sawyer Brown, Rhett Akins,
