Case gin, light green. 8 and 1/2" in height, straight sides, 3" across base. Applied flattened lip, down tooled string rim. Embossed on 2 sides "GORDON'S DRY GIN LONDON ENGLAND" and base embossed with an animal which I have heard called a wolf or a boar, looks kind of mythical to me. A very common, easy to find bottle, but a nice example of later gins. Ca: 1890's.
