Bladder Shaped English Onion - 8 and 1/4" tall and 6 and 1/2" wide. This bladder or "boot" shaped onion is rarer then the standard shape. Increasing it's rarity is the fact that the seal is placed on the narrow side of the bottle rather then on the broader flattened side. The seal reads "I S" with a four point star in between them. It sports a nice beveled string rim a typical English pontil. Ca: 1700-40.
