Candle Spell For Creating and Fostering Friendship

Needed Materials A purified candle for each person participating (pink for friendship, red for love) Kitchen oil, or special herbal candle-dressing oil Stones to cast the circle 1. Distribute the candles to each person participating. The candles should then be "dressed" (that is, purified and un-charged of unwanted energy). To do this, take a bit of oil on your fingers and rub it on the candle. Start in the middle, then upwards. Once you have gone all around the candle with the oil, repeat the same thing downwards. Visualize the excess energy being cleansed from the candle. Now you're ready to charge it with the desired magickal energy. 2. Cast a small magick circle, and sit around it. 3. Each person should charge the their candle with magickal energy by holding it and thinking of the good friendship and/or love that they will have, etc. 4. Place them in the center of the circle of stones together. Have each person light their candle. Let the candles burn down. 5. Have each friend take a stone from the circle. They are now charged with friendship/love energy.

A Basic Herbal

The following is a list of some of the more commonly found and used herbs, as well as their magickal properties. These herbs have a number of uses within Wiccacraft, such as making cleansing oils, incenses, healing, meditation, relaxation, aromatherapy, worn around the neck in a pouch, sewn into the covers of your Book of Shadows, or even to magickally charge certain foods.
It's advised that the herbs be fresh, not the dried 'sprinkle' variety. Fresh, whole-leaf herbs can be found in just about any grocery store produce section, or you could also grow your own herbs. Most are indoor-friendly and easy to maintain.
