Havoc falls not upon a man's life
but he falls upon it's path
and meeting with this intrusion
suffer's it's eager wrath
Yet blame lies not with havoc
nor with any other man
for the man can stop his freefall
if he truly thinks he can

Hell binds me to these walls
like heaven to her saints
not taking all the misery
out of my dull complaints
His eyes look down on paltry sand
and he kicks the rocks away
and scoops the dust into his hands
and laughs another day
The wicked song plays on and on
a tune more somber and cruel
it fills my head with endless thoughts
and turns me to a fool
Looking lightly in longing lust
I tear my heart away
taking with it what I must
for only pain will stay

Picture Perfect life
With each little day
and every peach is sweet
with perfect color and shape
I wish I had some fruit
to feed my hungry need
but my apple sits
uneaten and still
not sweet enough for me
and the peach sits there
as equally as still
and the worm hidden within
waits to be released

Little ticking, little boom
Empty heart empty room
Ever stalking little thought
Never ending pain is brought

Angels pass but never look
Grace is given, never took
Fate is open, never sealed
broken heart is never healed

Time passes day by day
Lasting hurt won't go away
minutes pass hour by hour
always causing joy to cower
