This is a horrible picture of me.. but it's me.

A Wind Called Fate 2-98

A cold wind snuck up
in between the sun and moon
and captured me within
I let it carry me away
But as I passed the sun
I felt the warmth of a new day
and as I passed the moon
I knew what night would bring
and I drifted slowly
resting in the hands of time
riding the wind
with the fallen leaves
and fragments of day
I closed my eyes
because what passed mattered not
what was behind
was far behind me
the wind knew where to take me
and I would find out
in the end

for you... Larry

Words could never explain
what my eyes must always show
the truth is so evident
even a fool could see
resistance is futile
and games never win
but the heart open
to a pure truth
I am sure you can see
through a deviant smile
into an insecure world
of a little girl
a world I never showed
any of thos people
but you always see
my tears and me smiles
I wonder how you broke through
a barrier I kept up for years
a shell of strength, never crossed
until you came along
now I need no shell
to keep me safe
I leave that task
for you

5-18-98

The winding road came to an end
My strait and narrow found
I do admit I miss that bend
so crooked on the ground
