The Bates Motel is now Perfectly safe.
Or How Norman Bates is NOT Psycho.
At This point, I'm Sure Many of you are now thinking --This chick has totally lost it!--. Bear with me, I have proof!!!
Alright, how can I prove it?
Norman Bates was nothing other than a very sad, very easily manipulated, very (Dare I say it?) Horny man. We all know the drill, he killed his mama, brought her back to his house, stuffed her, and began killing people wearing her clothes. But was he really nuts?
At this point, many people would say yes and lock him away in a looney bin. In fact, they did, and I know this action led to the other murders in Psycho 2 and 3. (Psycho 4 predated these, so it cannot be included in that statement.) Now, I will attempt to set the scene for you, with what I would have done!!
1) I would have scheduled for a tropical vacation for Norman, assigning the secret service to watch for signs of violence and assigning a pretty female companion (see pic)

Why? LEt's face it-- the man Needed a rest and a girlfriend!
Living that long in a lonely old house with a corpse for years can really take the life outta you. That's why he was so nervous. The pent up sexual energy didn't hurt, either! Think about it, he was 15 when he killed his mamma and her skanky ass boyfriend (according to Psycho 4), and that meant he was in the middle of adolescence, more or less. Whenever he got a girlfriend, --MOTHER-- took care of her. In Psycho 2 and 3, he spent most of the movie trying to get a girlfriend-- that's the kind of therepy he needed!! Rest and sex-- a good combo for the severely over-stressed Norman Bates.
2) I would have bought the man a computer (See Pic.)
Why? A Webpage can be a very creative and aesthetically pleasing act, much like Taxidermy, Norman's only hobby.
Taxidermy is a passion for Norman-- imagine if he could have created a taxidermy web-site! HE would have been e-mailing so m,uch, his body would be too occupied to murder! (I will get to how his body and Norman are actually seperate in this matter.)
3) I would have burned the house down. (see pic)
why? Psycho 4 proved that that damn house was part of the problem.
When Norman finally did what I suggested, he was freed from its influence forever! The memories, guilt, everything was caught up in that house. Once that and the hotel are gone, Norman could start over with the large sum of money he would collect suing the police for burning the house! *hee hee! Note: I don't get sued, I send the blame to the pigs that deserve it!!*
4) I would have scheduled an exorcism. (see Pic)
Why? Because Norman Bates was a subject of periodic possession.
Aha! Here is the real heart of my theory! MOTHER actually existed!
--You can't possibly mean that!!!--
Oh yes I can!
Norman Bates himself only killed once, and that was his mother and her boyfriend. although you may think me a certifiable looney, hear me out!
What is the difference between what Norman did to his mother and what he did to the other things that he stuffed? She may be a person, but that is it. So, why did he allow her to take control? Because an evil spirit decided it was time to screw Norman Bates over. Norman was incredibly guilty about his matricide, and this opened the door. It is a well known fact that a person cannot be possessed by a demon unless the subject is willing to let the demon in. Norman, when he saw the demon animate the corpse of dead mother, was more than willing to follow its orders. This was after he stuffed the body, and we all know that he knew the difference between the living and the stuffed. Thus, the only way to make norman believe Mother was still alive was to animate the body. Who can do this but a spirit, and what spirit would want to commit murder more than a demon? If Norman had gotten a girlfriend, she would have shown him the error of his judgement, and the demon could not allow this. Thus, Norman is considered a looney, and is miserable until he banishes this demon by burning that house and its grisly memories.
