Dragonboating Triumph!

It's been eight months since I last bunged an update on here - too busy having fun! Above is a pic from last Sunday, when the Northern Beaches dragonboating team paddled to victory in the 500m mixed 'minor' final (that's minor because the 'major' final is full of various international navy teams, Chinese worldbeaters and son, although from our time we would have come third or fourth even in that race...). Hoorah for the team, and hoorah for all the other teams too, especially Narrabeen Council, with whom we also paddled and won simething, I forget what, in the 250m corporate races, and also hoorah to the FFB team (Fast F**king Boat) who invited us to do a bonker 1km race right at the end just after we'd won the 500m. I did it (Jez) and remarkably I can still walk.
Dee has a new article up on the web - well, it's new on the slightly bonkers feminist Women In General site, although you may have seen it in some form before - Seven million steps to success...
