The original Evil Dead has been re-released on video cassette for
Haloween. It sells at Wal-Mart,
of all places.
The retail value is $6.97. So if you come across it, you
had better snag it up. Who knows how long it'll be out.

Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn has been re-released in a collector's
edition. It comes in a black collector's case. It
is a special widescreen presentation. It has been digitally
mastered for optimum picture and sound. It also
has the original theatrical trailer. I got it through Columbia
House Video Club. But you can probably get it
at any video warehouse or specialty store. It is selling
for about $19.95 or so. Grap it quick.
