Scotts Bluff is a
3,000 acre National
Monument. There is a
museum that contains
exhibits about human
and natural history of
this area. Also a unique
collection of watercolor
paintings by William
Henry Jackson, a frontier
photographer and artist.

Agate Fossil Beds
was once part of
"Captain" James H.
Cook's Agate Springs
Ranch. Cook's ranch
became a gathering
place for Chief Red Cloud
and other Sioux Indian
people.

The museum contains
fossils found around
the ranch along with
Cook's collection of
American Indian artifacts,
which are gifts brought
to him by the Indians
during visits to the ranch
from 1880 through the
early 1900s.

Fort Robinson,
Nebraska's largest,
most historic State
Park, was an active
miltary post from
1874-1948. History seems
to come alive here...
the site of the epic
Cheyenne Outbreak...
field artillery
training grounds...
Olympic equestrian
training grounds...
the last great gathering
of the Sioux Nations...
WWII prisoner of war
Camp....and now a
wonderful 22,000 acre
Park.

There is something
here for everyone..
Hey let's tour the
park in this horse
carriage..

Nebraska has its own
