Coco and I enjoyed many beautiful moments together that will be forever
imprinted into my memory and in my heart. From our first meeting in
I will always cherish the memories of my Coco Bear, the way he slept on his back
with feet straight up in the air (that at times made me panic). The way
he would strut around like he owned the world. The one memory of joy that I saw
in Coco that I remember so well, was the morning Candi gave birth to
her first set of puppies. Coco pranced around peaking in at the new
mother as if to say "These are my puppies and I am one proud Papa".
Coco always did his best to protect his sweetheart Candi and he adored
each and every puppy. He was always the first to bark at a noise and
the one to point out to me where the noise came from. He always stood
back and let his babies eat before he did and most of all Coco never forgot
who loved him best. He would always place his paws on my shoulder and
lay his sweet head on the other shoulder as if to give me a Coco Bear
hug, which always warmed my heart.
Coco never refused to come to me
when I would say his name or call him by the nickname he knew so well
"Bubby". He never dissappointed me when I wanted to take his picture,
all I would have to say was "Pose Bubby", and he did so with great
enthusiasm. He adored his swimming pool and enjoyed wearing his clothes.
He even enjoyed playing with his sister cats from time to time.
My Coco Bear was taken away to the Rainbow Bridge on the morning of
Janaury 19, 1999. It was a nightmare to lose my Bubby. Coco left behind
many memories for me to hold onto, but he also left behind a legacy...
Coco was born October 5, 1995 in the state of Kentucky where he lived
out his precious life until his tragic death on January 19, 1999.
When he passed on he left behind his girlfriend Debbie's Sweet
Candi, who was the mother to his puppies, his fur babies Princess Honey Bear, Fancy Sugar
Bear, Coco's Tootie Bear, Debbie's Sweet Taffaney and his only son
"Coco's Reese Bear II" all members
of Coco's Castle in Grethel, Kentucky. Also his other children
"Patty's Sweet Lolly Pop of Albion, Michigan, Trixie of McDowell,
Kentucky and Sassy of Galveston, Kentucky. He also left behind to
mourn Coco Bear's passing are also his sister cats, Baby, Presleigh
and Sammie, his loving mother Debbie and his grandmother Sue.
Although my Coco in now playing at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for that
joyous day when he and I will reunite to never be seperated again. He
still walks with me everyday when I look into the eyes of the fur babies
he left behind and at night he visits me in my dreams to comfort me,
and to give me the Coco hugs that I miss so very much.
