Hey, it's The Thomer, here's my thoughts. I must say, why Jay Leno? I mean honestly, what's the point. Now, trust me, I hated the idea of Rodman and Malone, but at least they were athletes. Leno is a late night talk show host and a bad one at that(I'm a Letterman fan). Not only do we have to have Leno in the ring, but to move along the angle, we must sit through nWo Night Cap, which in my opinion is the worst thing ever in pro wrestling. He's not funny, he's annoying and he's abusing his power as president, which in turn is bringing down the company. If WCW wants to stay alive, my advice, fire Bischoff. Now onto other WCW complaints, or maybe its better said as questions. What are they doing with Sting, who now has been dubbed "the franchise"? I must say, WCW had something going when they had the crow Sting going at first. I mean I would watch Nitro every week just see him come from the ceiling, when I knew that he would come down, kick some nWo ass, then we would hear my least favorite phrase:"we gotta go" That was good tv, even though I knew what would happen, I still watched. Then Sting wrestled again, then he talked again, then he started wrestling matches on Thunder, then he lost the belt, then he was a midcarder. I really didn't care about him. Then he joined the Wolfpac, he started painting his face red, I thought he was cool again, he was cocky and fun. But this past Monday, when I saw him come from the ceiling again, I must say a part of me got excited, the other part of me confused. Whats the point? But then I hear that its a possible set up for the Ultimate Warrior, which mind you makes me a happy man. Then on Thunder, he comes back out as the black and red? Please someone fill me in on what the hells happening. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait and see. Its WWF time. Props to Vinnie Mac. He is doing a wonderful job with the WWF. One of the coolest things I've seen in a while was when Steve Austin threw the Undertaker a beer, and drank it. I got goosebumps. Then this week, when the Taker told Austin that he was the"safest SOB" until SummerSlam, wow, I'm really enjoying WWF. DX is great. I do wish however that HBK would do some more color commentary, he does an excellent job with it. Also congrats on the first Sunday Night Heat, it was a well done show. Well, Thomer's out for now, but tune in next week for some more of my thoughts.
