Crafts For Little Fingers

Here in the craft section I have tried to have something for kids of all ages. Hope you find something you like!

Tattoo Paint

Don't worry mom this comes off with soap and water! This is also terrific as face paint.

What you need:

1 tablespoon of cold cream 2 tablespoons of cornstarch 1 tablespoon of water Food coloring Paint brush- clean

What you do:

1.Mix all of the ingredients together. Stir completely. 2.Using the paintbrush create your own personal tattoo. Have fun!

Pinecone Feeders

What you need:

Pinecones Peanut butter Birdseed Popcorn String

What to do:

1.Roll the pinecones in peanut butter, then in birdseed or popcorn. 2.Attach a string long enough so that the pinecone can hang from a tree branch. 3.Find a tree that you can see easily and hang your feeder there.

Rock Paper Weight

What you need:

Rock White glue Felt, material Acrylic paints Markers Water based varnish

What you do:

1. Find a rock that you love. Preferably large and smooth. Wash rock with warm water and dish soap.

2. Decorate the rock using felt, material, markers or acrylic paints. Be creative- make it look like your favorite person or pet for example. Attach material with white glue. If using paints wait until completely dried before applying varnish.

Hand Prints

What you need:

4 cups of flour 1 cup salt Food coloring Water to moisten Large Bowl

What you do:

1. Mix all the ingredients together in large bowl. Add water to get desired dampness.

2. Take half of the salt dough and gently flatten with palm of your hand. Don't let it get too thin. Keep it thick.

3. Ask your little one to make her handprints in the dough. You can do the same for feetprints too. With a toothpick have your child write their name on the back of the mold with the date. Allow to dry for 24 hours.
