San Francisco's Asian Pacfic Islander (API) Legal Outreach commisioned a group of people from Industrial Light + Magic for a public service announcement titled "One" focusing on domestic violence in the Asian community. Ming Na of "ER" and "Mulan" did the voice over. It's currently showing locally on KGO ch. 7 during late night programming. Actress Lisa Kang was "Mrs. Yee #6" while I was the "abusive husband." Rockson and Melody Yan were our kids. I have to admit that I felt rather uncomfortable playing someone who physically abused his wife. Fortunately, Lisa and I already knew each other from working together on another project about a year earlier so that helped a bit.
