As I said Dan Akroyd has been in over 40 movies. In his first movie, "Love at First Sight" filmed in1977, he plays a blind man who falls in love and tries to win her family's approval. In one of his most famous movies, "The Blues Brothers" filmed in1980, he stars with John Blushi as a Catholic musician trying to earn some honest money to save the orphanage in which he was raised. Some more of his films include "Twilight Zone-The Movie", "Gohstbusters I and II", "Spies Like Us"(with Chevy Chase), "The Great Outdoors"(with John Candy), "My Stepmother Is An Alian", "Driving Miss Daisy", "My Girl I and II", "Cone Heads"(taken off of the Saturday Night Live act), "Tommy Boy", "Casper", "Sgt. Bilko"(With Steve Martin), and most recently "Blues Brothers 2000" There are also many, many more.

Dan Akroyd is an extrodinary actor. He started out in Saturday Night Live between 1973 and 1975. He has also performed in over 40 movies, been featured in television specials, and he has his own series called Soul Man. His talent varies in many ways. He can do comedy, and he can be very dramatic. He also has quite a bit of musical tallent.
