Mercy Lena Brown, known as Lena to her friends, daughter of farmer/horsetrader George T. Brown and his wife Mary E. Brown, sister to Mary Olive and Edwin A. Brown died early Sunday morning on the 17th of Janurary 1892, after a lingering illness. She was 19 years old. She was buried in the cemetary adjoining Chestnut Hill Baptist Church in Exeter, Rhode Island on Wednesday the 20th of January 1892.
