Newtownbreda C.S.S.M. is one of 17 missions held in the summer throughout Northern Ireland. July - August

C.S.S.M. is part of the Scripture Union Movement and is concerned with bringing the good news about Jesus to boys and girls and young people, no matter where they come from.

Over 400 children, from 4 - 17, attend C.S.S.M. each day.

There is a full programme of events organised for them which includes meetings, games, outings. We try to build up friendships. with every child who comes and to present the Gospel in a fresh, innovative and relevant way in a relaxed holiday atmosphere. We need a team of between 45-50 members. Team members are usually 17 +, and come from a wide denominational spectrum. During the mission they sleep at home or are put up by local Christians. The team spend the whole day together. Some of the Christian ladies of the district cook our meals.

We Need Your Help!

If you are free during the fornight of the mission, would you consider joining the team ? We need people who love children, who can work hard and who feel the Lord is calling them to this type of service.

We need musicians, people who can do drama, people to organise games, artists, people to get friendly with children etc.
