hello motherfuckers. it is october 24th, 2006. it has been 4 years since i have touched this page. for some odd reason tripod hasn't deleted my account, so maybe this site will continue running. so a lot has happened in 4 years since february 2002. i joined and helped start a few really good bands, went on tour twice, worked, slept, fell in love (!) and built up an amazing book/record/vhs/cd/dvd/tape/poster collection. so maybe now i have a bunch of stuff to review and some things to get off my chest. so thanks for coming back and if this is yr first time, thanks. hope you enjoy!
stuff ive been enjoying lately:

music: lots of black metal. darkthrone, ulver, leviathan, tenebrae in perpetuum, burzum, gorgoroth, drudkh, twilight, mutiilation, those are the most prominent ones. as far as old punk/hardcore, infest, assfactor 4 (best hardcore band of the 90's), KORO (after 24 years the Koro LP is out and just like you expected, its a masterpiece!!), and other stuff. suffocation, deicide, Judas Priest (greatest heavy metal band ever. no more needs to be said), Goblin (horror movies soundtracks meets 70's rock? classic!), classic rock stations, zz top, exodus, james gang, boston, creedence clearwater revival, blackfoot.

books: hp lovecraft! harlan ellison! kurt vonnegut! will eisner! "atlantis: the antediluvian world" by ignatius donnelly! philip k. dick! j.d. salinger! "citadels of mystery" by L. Sprague deCamp! national geographic! crisis on infinite earths! essential fantastic four volumes 1-5! saga of the swamp thing! smithsonian collection of newspaper comics!

movies: i don't watch new movies too much, but i have a huge vhs/dvd collection. watch for the upcoming VIDEO SCANNERS website to see the website dedicated to reviewing mine and lindsay's movie collection!!

in other news, next year will be the year for the Cubs!!
