Two trigonotarbid arachnids of the family Eophrynidae from the Upper Carboniferous (Namurian A) of the Jaklovec beds, Ostrava coalfield are redescribed. These specimens, and an additional Ostravan species, are regarded as synonymous and are referred to the species Stenotrogulus salmii (Stur 1877). A new reconstruction of the dorsal surface of this species is presented and S. salmii is compared to the similar Westphalian D species, Pleophrynus verrucosa (Pocock 1911).
