#ArohaNui IRC help

Okay, so you've never heard of Internet Relay Chat (IRC) before? No problem!

This wondrous means of communications was first created in Vaasa, Finland, in 1989. It's a bit like an electronic CB radio, where you can log in and chat across a global network to other users. You can join channels of any particular interest, chat with other people online, exchange files ... lots of things are possible. And you never know who you might meet ...

The following links should help make your IRC life a bit easier:

Planet Internet Java IRC Client, Belgium - This client will also log you into the undernet. The welcome page is in Dutch, but no matter. Try it! (Note: Requires a JAVA capable browser.)

Undernet France Java IRC - Log into the undernet from France. (Note: Requires a JAVA capable browser.)

Telnet to telnet2.eu.undernet.org (port 6677) - an online anonymous IRC client in France. Requires a telnet client.

Telnet to telnet2.eu.undernet.org (port 7766) - use this link if the above link does not work due to terminal settings.
