In October, 1828 Samuel & Elizabeth (Hinchcliffe) Crawshaw and their children arrived at the port in Philadelphia, PA from Dewsbury, England. They sailed from Liverpool on the "Hanover". Other ancestors came to the United States from England, Wales and Germany.
