TINA'S POEM
- HOLDING ACTION
- Holding onto secret pieces of myself,
- fragmented.
- Hiding them under the covers,
- telling them to the dishpan and the dog,
- singing them to the trees.
- Writing them on scraps of paper
- collected into bags
- at the back of the closet.
- Someday,
- when I am stronger,
- I will bring them all out,
- and reconstruct myself.
