1.We THE GUARD do recognize these virtues as valuable: Honesty, Loyalty, Humility, Faith, Patience, Mercy, Friendship, and Love. Without these virtues, our society would die, as would the world. *
2.We must stand together to be strong; only united can we defeat the onslaught of evil that plagues the cyber world, for separately, we are each but one person. We BROTHERS AND SISTERS must stand by each other and protect each other *
3.We pledge Our guidance to sincere newcomers to the scene, to direct
them to information regarding decency in D/s practices.
4.We are to believe in the abilities and strengths of our fellow BROTHERS AND SISTERS; and understand that we are all friends and would not hurt each other. We must know that whatever happens there will always be a BROTHER OR SISTER to watch out for us and help us through our dificulties. BROTHERS AND SISTERS would not hurt each other. *
5.We must rember those we help today can help us later. We should encourage ourselves to learn from our mistakes and pass on the knowledge; and everyone deserves a second chance.*
6.Rember the best way to keep friends and allies by your side is to treat them well; to keep your promises, to help in time of need, to offer advice; these are things that need to be done with friends.*
7.Love is the basis of all that is good. Thus, we must be able to love our friends, and allow people into our hearts; love is the most beautiful thing in the world, but it also can hurt. We must learn to bear difficulties out, so that we may fully appreciate the beauty of love. Only by loving and by being loved can we truly experience life.*
8.We are to act as examples to those around us, displaying virtue, chivalry, and kindness.*
9.This is in order that our BROTHERHOOD may not be looked upon with contempt, except by those who are evil and cruel.*
