This was studied at the University of Teesside in the north-east of England, on the MSc CAGTA course. Towards the end of the course, I explored the interaction between CG character animation and recorded live action.
Special Effects have always excited me, and this is the field of the Film Industry that I wish to enter.
Prior to this, I gained a degree in Theatre and TV stage design, and followed this with self-taught decorative metal work. My qualifications can be found here
Over the years, I have practiced the art of portrait drawing and landscape painting, as well as photography and ceramics.
I enjoy the cinema
and theatre,
and can happily sink into a deep novel.
My taste of music
is wide, ranging from classical to rock and pop.
Although I am not too bothered with keeping fit, I will take short jogs
and enjoy a long walk. I also enjoyed the sport of archery for four years. Since the summer of '98, I rejoined an Archery club in Aberystwyth.
In January 1999, I went to my cousin's wedding in New Zealand. I hope to present some photos from my holiday there.
In December 2000 - January 2001, I returned to New Zealand. I hope to present some new photos that will include two animated Millennium Sunrises, as well as some new panoramic views ; but here is a montage of a rare opportunity looking down on a forming double-rainbow, caught from Auckland's Sky Tower.
