An Excellent book worth reading is
The Old Turtle by Douglas Wood.
The illustrations are by a fine museum artist and University Professor
I saw the author do this story in public at Eckerd Colleges Yearly Reading Festival
in St. Petersburg Florida. It is excellent, and he is an excellent story teller. I
have a signed copy for myself. Of all the books and story tellers I saw and heard
this is the only book I purchased there that was a reading book, the
rest were child activities books.
