ARTWORK CREDITS
The 3D red and blue numerals for each step in the tutorial were obtained as a free download from Digitmania.  These digits are named MGX and were designed by Massimiliano Graziani. The yellow tint for the rollovers was carefully added in Adobe Photoshop with the Eyedropper, Paint Bucket, and Pencil.
Text buttons used throughout the site were created with Cool Archive's wonderful Button Maker.  We chose the shaded rectangle with Ariel Black font at 18 point, red and blue colors, resized at 70% with no blur.  Rollover text buttons used identical settings with the colors reversed.
Heading Text Blocks were created online through several freebie sites.  For example, we made the masthead "Credits and Sources" above with Acme Label Maker using the Romaneste font, the shadow option, and the smooth filter. WebGFX Log-O-Mat generates logos with nice fonts.
Animated Icons on the Step Two pages and elsewhere are from Xoom, a free host site.

Custom Animated Banners were made through the fun interface at Animation Online

SCRIPTING CREDITS
Infinite Fish's RollOver MegaCoder generated the navigational rollovers for our tutorial. Please note that this automated interface could not handle images with numbers in their file names.
The rolling quotations on our Subscribe page are modifications of cut-and-paste Java Script from Lefteris Haritou's web site. Beware that our browser crashed several times before this feature finally became functional.
One easy option for creating an online feedback and survey interface is to begin with a free guestbook. Guestbook-4-Free is our favorite, because of the assessment questions, statistical charts, and background customization. Advertising is minimal.
The Flashing-Scrolling Bar on our "Webbing the Legislature" page is from Dynamic Drive
NAVIGATION LAYOUT OF TUTORIAL BUTTONS

The red frame for our tutorial was created in Netscape Composer.  The outer table consists of two rows and two columns, with borders, cell padding, and cell spacing all set to zero. Secondary tables were inserted into the cells to form containers for the rollover buttons and layout space for the text. Measurements were set in pixels to ensure uniformity.
