My memory is far from perfect but I thought I'd pass along what I remember about some of these guys. Bill MacCleod: Bill was another "up" person who seemed to be happy most all of the time. He was of Scottish descent and was kidded alot about his being "thrifty". He was just tight with a buck! But he was a friend to anyone around him. He owned a Cessna UC-78 Bamboo Bomber which he flew quite a bit in Confederate Air Force events. He loved and lived flying and was happiest when he was hanging around some small airport. After Bill retired he was riding his exercise bicycle when he had a heart attack and didn't recover. -H.A.
