Thanks to Steve Gustafson (7/7/01) Truman Jones hired me to go to work for Central after he interviewed me on a DC-3 somewhere between Tulsa and Amon Carter. I was going to Ft. Worth for the interview and Truman had been making a station inspection in Tulsa. As I was reading the insert that you sent, I noticed Clay Blalock's name. I remember Clay very well, but not as a Central or Frontier employee, but for his connection to SATO. -Dwayne Collins (7/15/08) CLAY R. BLAYLOCK Agent seniority date of 8/5/57, AMA JAMTO Manager, on the 1/1/62 CN/ALEA seniority list. JAMTO was Joint Airline Military Ticket Offices and they evolved into SATO which stood for Scheduled Airlines Ticket Offices. Their main functions were servicing the air travel needs of military personnel, usually based at military facilities. Employees in these offices were still considered their airlines' employees and accrued seniority as agents. Notice the frequent misspelling of Clay's last name - omitting the "y". -Jake Lamkins (1/25/09) FLacebook Randy Blaylock My dad started with CN in 1956 and retired from FL in 1985...always dressed up to non-rev.
