About the Engine

The FAQ Finder is a dynamic database published in a static HTML environment. The brain of the FAQ Finder is Microsoft's excellent relationship-based program Access 95. Access is used to store and sort the database as well as generate the actual HTML pages you see here.

About the FAQs

No FAQs are actually located at the FAQ Finder site. What the database contains, however, is a comprehensive list of approximately 1800 links to FAQs around the world. Due to the sheer size of the database, we have not contacted or credited the authors in our lists, but this information is always available within the FAQ itself. We see ourselves as a gateway to these FAQs and do not take resposibility for their contents.

About the Authors

The FAQ Finder was put together by Philip Kallerman and Ras Jarborg, two students at the Stockholm School of Economics. Philip will be working for the Swedish Trade Council's Chicago office this fall and Ras is a part-time employee of the management consultants Bain & Company. When they are not compiling FAQ databases, they enjoy sailing and watching late night television.

About the Site

The space for the FAQ Finder was generously donated by Tripod. Thanks to Mr. Tung T. Pham and the rest of the Tripod crew for their kind support. We're please to report that five days after conception, this site has already been awarded two accolades: The Too Cool Site Award and The Education Station's award for Excellence in Content.
