Yesterday (7/25/98) I returned from a week long trip to Wisconsin.....THE *OFFICIAL* CHEESE STATE! It was splendid. Now...let me tell you of the cheeses that I ate on my wonderful adventure.

One of the *first* bits of real Wisconsin cheese that I had was at "Dough County Pizza". Well, if one were to base their opinion of Door County, Wisconsin...no one would go there. It had nice toppings, (exceptional cheese), but I hated the crust. Oh, and the cheese sticks...appetizers, well, YUM!

Moving on...

The cheese on a different pizza was superb. Taco pizza from the "Pizza Pub" in the Dells. Best Taco Pizza *I* have ever had. And their garlic cheese bread was simply splendid.

At one point in the journey, I purchased a small block of cheese. It was a little variety pack. It had Colby, Co-Jack, Mild Cheddar, and Monterey Jack. Here's my opinions on them.

COLBY: It was sooooo good. Extremely creamy.

CO-JACK: This was my favorite of the 4.

MILD CHEDDAR: This WAS NOT mild. It was sharp, I tell you. It was good, but it surely wasn't mild.

MONTERY JACK: Ooooooooohhhhh......creaaaaamy.

Now. I had a lot of other cheese things. Cheesebugers, cheese and crackers, etc. But, I really don't feel the need to share that with you. I mean, Handi-Snacks Cheese and Crackers....well, I can't do much of a review on that.
