John Woo's Leading Men
Any John Woo fan can tell you that the actors in his films are just as
important as the gunfire and explosions going on. John Woo shares a special
bond with his leading man and this director-actor chemistry can clearly be
seen on-screen.So it's no surprise that Woo enjoys re-casting his leading man
in several different films, most notably his favorite leading man;
Chow Yun-Fat.
Woo also injects a lot of his own feelings and emotions into his characters
and sometimes if you see for example, Chow Yun Fat in a John Woo film,
you actually see John Woo's alter ego. Here are some background
