New Games!

This section is for the new Pokémon games. PIKACHU GENKI DECHU, YELLOW, STADIUM, SNAP, PINBALL, GOLD AND SILVER!! Yellow is coming to the US soon! Snap should be out in June or so and Stadium is a little after that. Don't expect Genki Dechu too soon .. or even at all. It has a lot of cool stuff in it that Japan never releases in the United States .. (grrr.) I heard that Gold and Silver will be coming out in Japan in April 1999. Well, just in time for my birthday, if I lived in Japan . . .

First, I thought you would like to see Mew, since I don't really have any other Pokémon pictures. Here he is. #151:

Pokémon Stadium

Pokémon Stadium is out in Japan, (grr) and I think it will be out in the US when the N64 diskdrive comes out. That should be this year, but who knows.

The controls in this game are similar to games like James Bond 007 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time. Moves will be assigned to the C buttons.

There are a few different modes in P.S.

1: Computer: You can use this mode to save your game onto a cartridge.
2: Picture Book: Like Pokémon Snap, (below) you can save pics of your pokémon.
3: Quick Look: Like a little Pokédex
4: Game Boy: Allows you to play with your Game Boy Pokémon on the N64
5: Collection: A BIGGER Pokédex
6: Registration: Import your friends Pokémon

7: Tournament: Fight the computer or your friends

Gold and Silver

These are the brand new Pokémon from Gold and Silver. There are many others, but Nintendo isn't just going to tell ALL of them. The first one is very important. It's Togepy. You know, from the show? I'm not sure if he's in the original, but he might be one of those annyoing hidden characters I can't seem to find. After Togepy is the new version of Pikachu. I like Pikachu better . . . Anyway, it's American name is Pikablu.

Pokémon Yellow

Team Rocket? Look familiar too? Of course. This is from the new Pokémon Version: YELLOW. This will be coming out sooner than Gold and Silver and is based on the TV show. I don't have too much information about this, but at least it is a PROVEN game.

Warning: Pics below may not show up.

Pokémon Snap

The first Pokémon Game to be released in the US for N64! It looks really neat, but kind of stupid. You have to take pictures of all of the pokémon on the Island. As you gain more pics of Pokémon, you can visit new places to take pictures. It's sort of dumb, because you don't battle or anything, but I'll still probably buy it anyway.

The first pic is a snapshot of Pikachu. The second is your safari car. This game is scheduled to come out in the US in June.

Pokémon Pinball

Yup, pinball. It's supposed to come out in '99, but I don't really have any info on it. I didn't even learn about it from Nintendo Power. I learned about it from Electronic Gamers Monthly. I'm just telling you about it. All I know is that it looks a bit like Kirby's Pinball Land. Above is a picture from it, with the rumble pack. Yup. It's "Game Boy Rumble Pack" compatible.

Pokémon Card Game

I sort of have instructions that I might put up later. This game is similar to Magic or any other CCG, though easier to learn. Above is the picture that is on the back of the cards. (I got a card free from Nintendo Power.)

Pikachu Genki Dechu

This looks like the most amazing Pokémon game of all. You talk to Pikachu through a new controller headset, and he responds to your voice. For example: If you call him "baka" (stupid) he will get upset and run away from you. If you call him "kawaii" (cute) he will be happy. He also plays ball, and there are a lot of minigames. It is similar to Norns, if you've ever heard of them. I doubt that this game will come out in the United States, considering that Japan never gives us the good stuff, (and when they do, we mess it up...)
