Location: Bliss, Indiana. Population: 7004.
Located in central Indiana, Bliss is a relatively isolated town. It doesn't garner a lot of human tourism, but has one remarkable feature. Gossip is nearly nonexistent. It is this feature that has drawn vampires to Bliss as a vacation point, a place to lie low if the Slayer's on their trail. Little did they expect another Slayer to arise.
Sarah Walz, a high school student who blended in remarkably well, learned shortly after turning 17 that she was to be the Slayer, defending humanity from the vampire scourge. Under the tutelage of her English English teacher, Frederick Williamson, she has succeeded fairly well in holding off the vampire menace. It is, of course, to her advantage that she is not patrolling the city located over the Hellmouth. Notably, noone knows of her efforts to defend them from the vampires.
Locations of Interest in Bliss:
Bernie's Ice Cream Shoppe: The general teen hangout in Bliss, Bernie's keeps up plenty of business. Bernie even bought an adjacent building which has been converted into a dance hall. The two buildings are interconnected.
The Hook: Local gaming store, featuring CCGs, RPGs, and comics. Includes a CCG playing area in back, and a LARPing room upstairs. Interestingly, many vampires enjoy Black Dog games and can often be found in a non-threatening environment here. The Slayer has a deal with these vampires--they don't feed here, she doesn't stake them here. Owned by a clever Ventrue, but you don't know that.
Bliss Memorial High School: With about 600 students in grades 9-12, Bliss Memorial is one of the largest high schools in the area. It includes students from Bliss proper as well as smaller surrounding communities and the rural areas near bliss.
