Chapter Eleven

"Where we off to?" Jessa asked Brian while they were in his jeep.

"I told you that you'd find out. It's a suprise," Brian smiled at her.

Jessa smiled back.

About an hour later, Brian pulled into a driveway infront of a huge white house.

"Brian, where are we?" Jessa asked curiously.

"This is my house. Howie and Kevin also live here. We know Howie is back at your place. Hopefully Kevin will be out with Kristen," Brian said escorting Jessa into his house.

"Nice place you got," Jessa commented after walking into the house.

"Would you like a tour?" Brian asked her.

"Sure, that sounds great to me," Jessa agreed.

Brian gave Jessa the grand tour. He showed her everything including the living room, dining room, kitchen, pool, billards room, and even Howie's room and Kevin's room. The last stop was Brian's room. "And this is my room," Brian explained pointing to all his Wild Cats pendants and jerseys.

"Nice place you got here. Seems like a place that I would like to visit when I get lonely," Jessa said.

"Yea, come any time. I would be welcome to have you here." Brian said smiling at Jessa. "Sit down, make yourself comfortable." He said motioning to his water bed.

"Whoa!," Jessa told herself. "Brian just asked for me to sit on his bed. Should I? Oh, what is the difference. I will just be sitting on his bed." Jessa reassured herself and plotted herself on his bed.

Brian went over to sit next to her.

"Are we alone?" she asked him.

"Um...I think so," Brian said not knowing if Kevin or anyone else was home. "Why? Do you wanna be alone?"

"Well, it would be nice. We haven't been alone before. Nick and Linds were always with us. Not that it was a bad thing or anything, but..." Jessa rambled on.

"Shh..." Brian motioned her and put his finger on her lips to stop her from talking. He leaned in close enough for her to feel his breath on her face. Jessa leaned in closer too and they both started to kiss one another very passionately. Brian pushed Jessa down very softly and they continued to kiss. Suddenly there was a knock at the door and both of them got up very quickly and jumped up from the bed.

*Meanwhile, back at Linds' house...*

"Mooommmm....." Linds cried. "You can't do this to me. I am Sixteen years old, going on Seventeen this November. Nick isn't any older than I am. He will be Nineteen in January. Big Whoop! You and daddy are 10 years apart."

"This has nothing to do with age, Lindsay," her mother defended. "The point here is that you and this boy have only seen each other for a day and that is not enough time to really love someone. You are still immature and need to learn things."

"Okay," Linds agreed. "But, if you want me to be mature, then I need to learn from my mistakes and not the mistakes you won't let me make. All I know right now is that you won't even give Nick a chance and you always go against me and treat me as if I know nothing. Well, guess what, Mother! You're wrong. I love Nick and you just can't take that. Well, I don't have to listen to you always telling me I am wrong." Linds said and ran upstairs to her room, crying.

After about ten minutes of sobbing and sulking in her room, Linds heard a knock at her window. "Who can that be?" she asked herself. She steped over to her window and opened the curtains. A smile crossed Linds' face. It was Nick. He was climbing up a latter to her window. Linds opened the window. "What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I couldn't take it any longer. I had to come here and see you. I don't care what your mother says. I am never gonna let you go."

"Oh....." Linds melted.

"Come with me," Nick told her.

"I dunno. What if my mom finds out that I got out. Then I will be grounded for life."

"Linds, I won't let anything bad happen to you. Please come with me," Nick asked giving Linds his famous puppy-dog face.

"Fine," Linds agreed and followed Nick down the latter and into his Mustang convertable. "Love the car," she commented.

"Why thank you, my darling," he joked.

Linds laughed. "Where we off to?"

"I got this all planned out, but you can't know yet."

"Aww...Rats!" Linds protested.

Nick laughed at Linds.

Linds liked Nick's car. She felt on top of the world with Nick and the wind blowing in her her. It all refreshed her. But, that soon stopped when Nick stoped the car. Linds noticed that they were at the Beach.

"Here we are," Nick said at last. He went into the back of his car and got out a picnic basket.

"What's that for?" Linds asked curiously.

"Come with me," Nick said putting out his hand for her to take while he was holding the basket with his other hand. Nick braught Linds over to a very romantic spot. He put down the basket and set up a towel for the two of them. "Sit!" He motioned for Linds to sit on it.

Linds sat down. "WoW! Nick I never had a guy do something like this for me before. You are really special."

"So are you. That is why I made this for us," Nick said setting the rest of the stuff from the basket down. When he was finally finished, he went and sat down next to Linds and wrapped his arms around her stomach. Linds leaned back and laid her head on his shoulder.

"You are the best, Nick. I dunno what else I want in a guy. You are everything I have always dreamed of. You are sweet, caring, funny, romantic and very very cute. I really love you."

"What did you say?" Nick asked.

"You're sweet, caring, funny, romantic..." Linds said, but Nick cut her off.

"No, after that," Nick said.

"I love you?" she asked.

"Yea, that," he said.

"I knew it. I was afraid to say it, but I see you don't feel the same way," Linds said getting all upset. "Why do I do that? I tell someone exactly how I feel and it messes everything up."

"Linds," Nick said shutting her up. "What you said didn't make me wanna move away from you. What it did made me wanna move in closer to you."

Linds' face went blank. "Huh? What exactly are you trying to tell me?"

"Well, I am TRYING to tell you that I Love You, too. That is what I brought you here to tell you. I have never felt for someone the way I feel for you. I know that we have only known each other for not even two days, but when I know something and I have strong feelings for it, I go for it. I never wanna give it up."

Linds was speechless. All she felt like doing right now was giving Nick a kiss and that is exactly what she did. They were in a lip-lock session for about five minutes. But Linds suddenly pulled away remembering something. "What about my mom?" she asked.

"What about her," Nick asked Linds back. "If she is giving you such hell, you can stay with me for a little while. I can let you hide out. I told my mom how much I loved you and she said to me that you would be welcome to stay with us."

"Wow, that is very nice of her, but I need to think about how to handle my mom some more. Jessa usually helps me out. I will call her tomorrow and see what she says. But for now, I am really enjoying my time here with you. Lets not ruin it."

"I agree with that. Lets make the best of the night," Nick said pulling out a bottle of Champagne and pouring a glass for Linds and himself. After he was done pouring, he raised the glass and Linds followed him. "To us!" He cheered.

"To us," Linds agreed. They both took a sip and leaned in for another kiss.
