Dawson's Creek - Interactive Story

Welcome to the (sort-of) Interactive Story!

I am really sorry I haven't updated this for ages. I have had problems with access to internet, etc... and I've had so many entries for this I can't put them all in. For this I very sorry, but I'll do my best...

For those of you who do not know what an interactive story is, it is when someone starts off a piece of fanfiction, lasting only a few lines, and other people carry it on. Usually, it gets posted up onto the page immediately, but that is only possible through the use of a CGI-bin (don't ask me what that is!!!)
I have no idea how to create my own CGI-bin in order to get a real interactive story, and so instead I decided to go ahead with it anyway, and just have the results mailed to me.
This means that you write a continuation of the fanfic in the form below, and when I recieve it, I will post it up on this page (ie. not at all reliable!)

In order for this to work properly, I need some help from you. Mainly, all I need you to do is write the number of your entry on the form, so that I know which order they go in. If there is a clash of ideas, I will use which ever one seems to work best with the previous ones. (In other words, I have no idea what I'm doing, but let's give it a try anyway and see how it goes!!!!)

Wow! I can't believe it - I've had so much response to this I can barely believe it. However, there is a problem, as you can probably tell! I've been away from the university on study leave for a week, and so I haven't been able to put this in. Hence I have taken everyone's suggestions and put them into an order which sortof makes sense....

Okay, here's the next installment! Okay, there was another slight problem with this lot, and so some of them had to be missed out. I also had to alter a few slightly to make them fit in... happy reading!
Oh, and if you want to change the scene, feel free. It doesn't just have to be in Dawson's room the whole time! Just make sure that your entry makes sense and can be continued okay. Thanks!

ENTRY 1 - Februari
(Dawson's room. Pacey climbs in the window.)
Dawson, Hey, Pace. What's up?
Pacey: I just got a phone call from Tamara. I haven't heard from her in ages.... I wonder what she wants.......?

ENTRY 2 - Juliette
Dawson: Don't worry, it's probably just that she misses you. I know I would...
Pacey: (notices the grin on Dawson's face) Hey man, come on, it could be something really serious.
Dawson: (laughing) Oh yeah, like what?
Pacey: I dunno, but she wouldn't call me unless something was up, I'm sure.
Dawson: Oh, come *on* Pace, it's not like she's gonna be pregnant or anything.....

ENTRY 3 - Jessica
Pacey: That's *so* not funny. Don't even joke about stuff like that, Dawson.
Dawson: What would you do if she was?
Pacey: (joking) Kill her.
Dawson: Seriously, Pacey. What would you do if Tamara waltzed into your life tomorrow morning and told you she was pregnant?

ENTRY 4 - Jessica
Pacey(laughing nervously): Nah, Dawson, that couldn't be it. We...we were careful, you know.
Dawson: It only takes one time, Pace.
Pacey: Dammmit, I know. This could be true. I could be a bigger screw-up than I am already. (determined) She wants me to meet her tomorrow Dawson. And I'm going to. Because...I'm not over her, man. Not at all.

ENTRY 5 - Rina
Pacey: Oh, man, don't even joke about that. I mean, my dad would really flip out about that.
Dawson: Don't worry about it. Really. Everything's going to be fine.
Pacey: I don't know. Something big's going to happen. I just know it.
Dawson: And you say *I* watch too many movies?
Pacey is silent, and then they both start to laugh.
Pacey: Yeah, you're right. It's nothing. She just misses me. ~He says it confidently, but obviously is still worried.~

ENTRY 6 - Alicia
Pacey: Duh, Dawson, I'm *not* stupid. She was on the Pill.
Dawson: Okay, whatever you say Pacey. I'm sure it was nothing. I wouldn't be worried.
Pacey: Well, it *is* Tamara, Dawson. (laughing) Maybe she misses me and desperately wants me back...
Dawson: Who would want you back, Pacey! I've been trying to get rid of you for years.
Pacey: Aaahh, friends... what *would* I do without you.
(Enter Joey through window)
Joey: Hi, guys.
Dawson: Hey, Jo, you're a girl, so what do you know about the Pill?
Joey: Hmmm, isn't it a little early to be discussing this, Dawson? (smiles) I just got here.
Dawson: I'm being serious. Is it reliable?

ENTRY 7 - Mo
Joey: You took Health class, Dawson, you know it's not 100%, especially if you forget to take it.
Pacey: Shit.
Joey (looking them over): What's the deal, guys?
Dawson (eyeballing Pacey): What do you mean "shit," Pacey???
Pacey: Well, she mentioned something about needing a new prescription, but I figured it was a girl thing.
Joey (eyes wide): But you still slept with her? Tell me you at least used a condom. Pacey: Well...
Joey and Dawson: Pacey!
Pacey: We were having fun, and I didn't have any on me. C'mon, guys, it was the "heat of the moment-" you know.
Joey: I wouldn't worry, Pacey. I mean, you haven't heard from her in a long time. It's not like she called or something.

ENTRY 8 - Melissa
Pacey: Yea, you're right.
He picks up Dawson's phone and calls Tamara.
Tamara: Hello?
Pacey: Hey, Tamara, what's up?
Tamara: Oh, I just wanted to tell you the good news, I'm getting married!

ENTRY 9 - Jessica
Pacey:(visibly relieved) Married ? That's great, Tamera.
Dawson:(whispering) She's getting married ? That was what she wanted to tell you ? Wow, that was a close call.
Pacey:(motioning at Dawson over his shoulder to be quiet) What ? You want me to come to the wedding ? Tamera, I don't know......

ENTRY 10 - Alicia
Tamara: I want you to come... please.
Pacey: Sure, I guess. Look, Tamara, can we talk about this later. I'm kind of in a rush.
Tamara: No, problem. See ya, Pacey.
Pacey: Bye. (covers the mouthpiece and looks at Joey and Dawson) She's getting married.... She wants me to be there.
Joey: You're not *actually* thinking about going, are you, Pacey? That'd be silly.
Dawson: Jo's right, Pace. It'd be kind of weird, don't ya think?
Pacey: Sorry, guys, I'm hitting this one. I mean, I've got to stop her somehow, right?

ENTRY 11 - Nyssa
Tamara: I'm getting married. Aren't you happy for me?
Pacey: Oh yeah! I hope you're very happy together.
Tamara: Pacey, you sound upset. Don't you have someone
in your life that you love?
Pacey: Yeah of course!
Tamara: Who?
Pacey: Her name? Uh....Joey Potter.

ENTRY 12 - Sheralie
Joey: (staring suspiciously at Pacey, then back at Dawson) Why is he saying my name?
Dawson shrugs.
Pacey: (smiling nervously at Joey) Nothing . . . honey.
Tamara: (obviously bothered) Oh . . . is she . . . there?
Joey: HONEY??? Pacey . . .
Tamara: Pacey? Are you there?
Joey: Pacey . . .
Tamara: Pacey . . .

ENTRY 13 - Tracy
Joey: Pacey, why did you say my name? Is it not enough to insult me in person?
Pacey: I used your name as a cover. Congradulations, you are now my girlfriend.
Dawson: WHAT?!?!?
(Joey and Pacey stare at him at the same time)
Pacey: It's not for real, Dawson, chill! I would have used Jen but I don't think she'd deal.
Dawson: Can't you get yourself a real girl?
Joey: And what am I Dawson, if I'm not a girl.
Dawson: I din't mean it like that , it's just........

ENTRY 14 - Angel
Joey: What?! Pacey you're a dead man-
Dawson puts his hand over Joey's mouth as Pacey continue's his conversation.
Pacey: Yeah, Joey Potter. We've been dating for a while now.
Tamara: Oh... That's nice. I think I remember her from one of my classes.
Pacey: (nervous) Uh, yeah, she's great.
Tamara: Well, why don't you bring her with you to the wedding?
Pacey: Um, sure, we'll both be there.
Tamara: Well, I have to be going now. Bye, Pacey.
Pacey hung up the phone nervously. He warily turned to Joey and she was giving him her death stare.
Pacey:(a bit of nervous laughter) Joey, um, how do you feel about weddings?

ENTRY 15 - Josey
Joey. what did u just say about me.
Pacey. I...uh..well...i told her we were together
dawson. You what!!
Pacey. She asked if i had anyone special i didn't want to feel stupid and say no and when she asked who joey was the first one who came to mind
Joey. Why me? (smiling to herself)

ENTRY 16 - Kiki
Tamara: (on phone) Yeah right, she's all over Dawson, isn't she?
Pacey: Of course not, now she's all over me
Tamara: (lowering her voice) Well......Then you will be taking her to my wedding?

ENTRY 17 - Willa
Joey: I can not believe you dragged me into this.
Pacey: Come on Joey, what was I suppose to do?
Joey: Try telling the truth.
Pacey: Just come with me to the wedding, who knows, you might even have a good time.
Joey: Yeah right, dancing around with you while I try to manage walking in heels and listening to cheesy love songs. Sounds like a perfect evening.
Pacey: Pleassssse. For me. When have I ever asked you for a favor.
Joey: Fine. But you owe me big time!

ENTRY 18 - SpookMuldy
Joey: What're you bringing me into this for??
Pacey motioned for her to be quiet and ended the phone call grinning deviously.
Joey: Paceeeey!
Pacey: Come on, Jo! I've got this great plan!You come with me to the wedding, we act all hot and heavy and then I pull Tamara aside and announce how I could never really love any other woman but her.
Dawson: Is that true?
Pacey shrugged: I dunno, I haven't met that many women.
Joey:You're gonna crash her wedding just IN CASE she's the love of her life?
Pacey: Guess so.
Joey: And you think I'm gonna help you?

ENTRY 19 - Sarah
Pacey: "Of course you are going to help me!!!"
Joey: "How would you know Pacey?!?"
Pacey: "It's just a guy thing, We can just sense when a girl really wants us"
Joey "Bite Me Pacey!"
Pacey: " I am going to have to take you up on that one day!!"
Joey: " Dawson I am not going to stay any bit longer with this wannabe Sex Machine!"
Dawson: " No, Jo, Wait!!!"
Pacey: "Yeh Please I was just playing!!" "But I would reAlly be honered if you would come with me"
Joey just stood there speechless

ENTRY 20 - Kerry
Pacey: Well, Its not like you don't owe me a favor.
Joey: You're absolutely phsycho, Pacey. There's no way in Hell I'm going with you so that you can assert your masculinity on some older woman who's made it quite clear taht she does NOT, and I repeat NOT, want you in her life.
Dawson: Joey, That's a little harsh, don't you think?
Pacey: No, man, she's right. Tamara obviously doesn't want me....But, that's exactly why I have to go to the wedding and prove to her that she DOES want me and she just doesn't know it..
Joey: You are so completely warped. *sigh* I'll go. On two conditions.
Pacey: Name 'em.
Joey: One. You take me out for a nice dinner before the wedding. Two. I can't wear the same jeans and t-shirt to the wedding, so we go shopping for the apropriate attire. And 3, don't sully my reputaion to boost you're ego at the wedding. I reserve the right to deny anything you say that I don't approve of. Have we got a deal?
Pacey: *sigh* You drive a hard bargain, Jo, but I think your terms and conditions are more than fair. You have got yourself a deal.
Joey: Then you have got yourself a date to a wedding.
Dawson: You two are so wierd.

ENTRY 21 - Sandy
Pacey:Fine, Fine, I owe u BIG time!!
Dawson:(looking at Joey & Pacey as if they where MAD)So u're ACTUALLY going through with this?
Pacey:(he grined & rubbed his hands together)Yep, but now we have to think of a plan.
Dawson:WhAt do u mean "WE"?... We is a lot of people, and you can count me out on this one!
Pacey:Come on, Dawson, help me out on this one, I want to go and show Tamara that I'm capable of having a relationship. (Pleading with him)
Dawson:Oh, okay, but don't do anything stupid.

ENTRY 22 - Donna
Joey: And the plot thickens, it's impossible for Pacey to anything but stupid.
Pacey: That hurt...
Dawson: Who wants to watch a movie?
Joey and Pacey in unison: Not me!
Dawson: Puuuuuuuullllllleeeeeaaassse!
Joey: Shut up Dawson.
Dawson: (pouts) fine, just remember you could've been watching a movie with me while your off pretending to suck face with Pacey at Tamara's wedding!
Joey: Do the words rat's ass mean anything to you?

ENTRY 23 - Jill
*at the mall*
Pacey: OK Jo I thought you were some sort of tomboy. What's up? This is like, the 15th store we've been to!
Joey: Oh, Pacey , Pacey, Pacey. You and your feeble mind. It's called payback. Ah, you using MY name, me using YOUR money.
Pacey: *to himself* Oh, God
Joey: So, Pacey, 'dear' shall I wear this *Joey holds up an ugly blue/orange plaid dress*
Pacey: You REALLy enjoy this don't you?
Joey: You bet Sweetie

ENTRY 23 - Jill
*still at the mall*
*Pacey whimpers as Joey comes out of the dressing room in a yellow mini skirt and a tan top*: Haven't you put me through enough?
Joey *Pats his head*: I guess we could stop to get something to eat.
*sitting down in Arby's*
Pacey: uh...Joey?
Joey: Yes?
Pacey: oh god... uh.. .I just wanted to say I---I--I reallywantedtoactualyltakeyounotjeniiiiilikeyoujoey.
Joey *confused*: Uh..OK what now?
Pacey: *slower* I really actually wanted to take you not Jen *pauses and blushes* I-I-I like you Joey!
Joey: You WHAT?! I mean this is--oh god *sighs*
Pacey: yup, me too. Well i mean...

ENTRY 24 - Juliette
Joey: Wow, Pacey. This is heavy.
Pacey: I'm sorry, Jo, I just couldn't contain it!
*There is silence, then...*
Joey / Pacey: I'm sorry...!
*They laugh*
Pacey: You first...

ENTRY 25 - Februari
Joey: Well... all I wanted to say was I'm sorry for acting like that. You just took me by surprise, that's all.
Pacey: What are you saying, Jo?
Joey: I guess... what I'm saying is... this thing between me and Dawson just isn't going to work. He doesn't even realise I exist, at least not in that way.
Pacey: Jo, get to the point.
Joey: I guess I'm saying that... maybe we should give "us" a go. I mean, what have we got to lose, right?
Pacey: Are you *serious*?!
Joey: *nods* Yeah.
Pacey: Well.... I guess it's kinda pointless going to the wedding after all, then!

ENTRY 26 - Fiona
Joey: I still think we should go.
Pacey: Why?!
Joey: Because Tamara asked you! Plus, it would be good place for our first date, don't you think?
Pacey: Let's get you some clothes!
*cut to later, in a shop. Joey is coming out of a changing room wearing a gorgeous long pale blue skirt and a white spaghetti top*
Pacey: *rapidly inhales* Wow.
Joey: (grinning) What d'ya think?
*Pacey can't find the words, much like with Tamara in the video shop in the pilot episode*
Pacey: Wow.
